Doodle art

I created my unique style of doodle illustration 5 years ago. There is just something magical about doodle art. It doesn’t require more than pen and paper; and the act of tracing and repeating pattern in a completely intuitive way is so relaxing.  It is what always brings me back to this simple yet effective art form.

It is with great pleasure that I get to share my doodle art techniques with you.

Our style of doodle art draws inspiration from popular forms such as Zentangle and Zendoodle but with a twist

What makes doodle art so appealing is that it requires little artistic know-how.  You can make your doodle art as simple or as complex as you like.

Our ‘Expanding Doodle Illustration’ technique makes it virtually impossible to make a mistake. If you don’t like something you add, you simply layer it with another mark.  It’s like it never happened!

Doodle art also doesn’t require a laundry list of supplies either. You can get started with just a pen and paper. Of course you can always add more media to include color and texture. (And believe me once you get started, you wont want to stop)

The need for just a few supplies makes doodle art an easy technique to take on the road. You can easily stash it away and take it with you half-way around the globe or to your favourite coffee shop.  You decide.

Lastly, doodle art is so relaxing!  It’s all about having fun, going to your happy place and simply enjoying the process.

Let’s get started!
